A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing Paige and Ben's wedding. The skies were perfect for a beautiful photo shoot which lent itself to amazing lighting. Paige was one of the most excited and expressive brides I have ever worked with-she was never without a smile or intense expression that lit up the room. The photos below prove that! Paige and Ben also did some really unique extras like (my favorite) a dessert bar, they gave their favorite novels as favors, and used every vibrant shade one could think of to decorate- it was awesome! I had a wonderful time getting to know Paige, Ben, their family and friends and it was a blessing to be a part of their special day! Congrats to both of you! Enjoy!

Crystal & Walter : Engaged & Married...

But... for the marriage part you'll have to wait a few. I did this engagement session the last day of June and finally am catching up on my blogging. I have been so blessed with so many amazing couples, and Crystal and Walter are another to add to that list! We originally planned to do their session at Sunset Cliffs, but the tide was too high so we headed up to La Jolla and shot at cove. Many times when I start a session with a couple, I ask them what they think their chemistry is like, it gives me a feel for what level of comfort they have in front of the camera. Well, Crystal and Walter responded to that question with "Great" and proceeded into a kiss! I knew instantly that they would be stunning in front of the camera. Take a look at the teasers below... You may remember Ashley and Joe from their awesome engagement session a couple of months back... Well, couple of weeks ago, I got to meet up with them again when I had the pleasure of photographing their beautiful wedding at the La Costa Resort. Ashley was simply stunning, and Joe looking dapper, they celebrated their marriage with friends and family on a sunny Friday evening. The day went off without a hitch, there was such a joyful and peaceful presence the entire day. It just seemed everyone genuinely really enjoyed themselves, the way you'd hope it would be. I posted a couple of teasers below. Ashley is so photogenic, she's just so natural in front of the camera... The pic of her is one of my favorites from the day! As part of my June wedding marathon, I had the absolute pleasure to shoot the wedding of Jennifer and Andrew. It was a rather warm day in Temecula, but the heat could not wilt this affair! Jennifer looked stunning as she came down the aisle, and clearly Andrew agreed(1st pic)! I didn't have the opportunity to meet these two before there wedding, we did our bookings over the phone and Andrew was out of town for a new job until just before the wedding... that being said, these two were so sweet, I felt like I had known them for a while. Everything was beautiful, the flowers especially added so much vibrance to this great day! I had such a pleasure spending the day with Jennifer and Andrew, thanks for having me along! Just a couple days before heading out to Chicago, I had the pleasure of photographing Marge and Rod's wedding. They are such a great couple! I am so excited to be packing up and heading to Chicago today. I am heading out east to attend a photography workshop put on by some amazing photographers. Sarah and Brian were my 6-7-08 couple. Sarah used a various shades of blues and her bridesmaids wore some of the best dresses I've seen. They were a really nice compliment to her theme being blue with a dark blue paisley pattern. Sarah looked stunning that day... every last detail,down to her gold shoes, was perfect. When you take a look below you'll see the shot of Brian just as Sarah was coming down the aisle- he just lit up and was so eager, it was awesome! The day was beautiful and Sarah and Brian were such a great couple to spend the day with. Sarah requested some more "edgy" shots than the traditional romantics, so I posted a couple of those as well. A big congratulations to Sarah and Brian and we hope you are having a wonderful time in Jamaica!

About a week ago, Kristin and I met up with Amanda and Kelsey at the Stone Brewery in Escondido for their engagement shoot. If you haven't been there, we highly recommend it! I figured that title was appropriate since today is Cinco de Mayo! We are very excited to announce that our beloved Daisy and Kona turned 1 year old today. Now a birthday is not complete without a party, right? So, Kristin and I decided we would have a little celebration, complete with cake and presents! Since we don't have kids we can justify this, right? ;) Kristin picked up a cake from our favorite pet store, Dexter's Deli, in Carlsbad. They make yummy carrot cake with peanut butter, dog-friendly of course. They both liked the cake, but Daisy in particular loved the cake. We only gave them a portion because all we need are birthday dogs with tummy aches! Kristin says that Daisy is the typical girl, she loves her sweets. Take a look below at the celebration... Jamie & Scott ~ Married

And now to continue with my previous post....Jamie and Scott were married a couple of weekends ago at the beautiful Fairbanks Ranch Country Club and held their reception at a private residence also located in Fairbanks Ranch. The evening was very intimate and the locations were gorgeous. Jamie and Scott were such a fun couple, so obviously in love. They had so much fun and just laughed and giggled the whole time. It was infectious! Scott is a firefighter and some of his crew could not make it to the wedding, so not to worry, they extended their evening to their local watering hole in Carlsbad so that their friends could join in on the celebration. What a great idea! I had such a blast with you Jamie and Scott, and I wish you all the best in your future together. Thanks for letting me be a part of your special day. ENJOY!

Marge & Rod ~ Engaged

Last week I met up with Marge and Rod to do their engagement shoot. Since Rod is currently serving our country stationed at Camp Pendleton, they decided on the Pier in Oceanside as their spot for pics. Take a look below, I think it was a great choice. Introducing "PartyPics"

Last weekend I shot a wedding with Craig Tiscareno at the twin oaks victorian gardens. I asked him if I could set up my PartyPics booth and give it trial run... Well, it was more than a trial run, it was a smashing success. During the day, us photographers spend most of our time focusing on the bride and groom and the guests really only get what's left over. I love shooting the families and friends at the wedding but it seems that there's just not enough time in the day. Well, PartyPics is going to be a fun and exciting way to make sure all of the guests have their photo taken. I really want to start using PartyPics at all of my weddings this year! Anytime a friend or a family member hires me to shoot a wedding, I am absolutely privileged and honored to cover their event. It seems there is more pressure during those times, but being able to help document those memories is so special. I have known Ted since high school and we were actually roommates on a couple of different occasions. Ted met Sara just over 6 years ago and that's when we all became friends. There are many years of great memories in this long lasting friendship! Well this October Ted and Sara have decided to throw one heck of a party at the US Grant Hotel, aka "get married". I had a great time shooting these photos at the beach in Carlsbad where they got engaged. Im looking forward to photographing their marriage celebration this coming October. Loren & Joe ~ Engaged

Location, Location, Location... is that how the saying goes? Well, last Saturday we had a great time shooting the engagement session of Loren and Joe. We met Loren just over a year ago when I had the opportunity to do some event work for Taylormade/Adidas. So, when it was time for Loren and Joe to start planning their wedding, I was so blessed that they chose us to do their wedding photography. When planning this session, Loren shared she really had a few locations she liked, so rather than choosing one, we decided to hit them all! We started downtown, headed to Seaside Beach, and then finished in a riverbed... (that's all I'll disclose, it's a our new secret spot ;0 ) Loren and Joe were fabulous "models", as you can see they were smoking hot! They really wanted more of fashion/edgy shoot, so we went for that look! Take a look below.... & enjoy!

Last week I joined Ryan and Brooke at their home for Kate's first photo shoot. Kate is the apple of their eyes and she already has that ability to melt her daddy's heart. It's such an honor to take pictures of a couple's first baby because their is just so much emotion wrapped up in this new period of their lives. Kate has amazing eyes and for being just under two months old, she was already so expressive. I was also able to get some shots of her beautiful nursery... Best Wife in the World

Yup, I honestly have the best wifey in the world. Background...I have a terrible addiction to ice cream and Im not afraid to admit it. So last night while I was cooking, Kristin came home from the store with thin mint ice cream made by Dreyers. I was soooo happy to say the least! Im a bit of an ice cream snob, and I have my favorites. Like Bud's ice cream made in San Francisco and the only place I have found it is in OB at the Light House. To give you an idea of how creamy it is, Haagen Dazs contains 10% milk fat, well Buds has about 12% milk fat. This Thin Mint stuff tastes like it has about 14% milk fat. Really, its that good! ;)

This past Sunday I spent some time downtown with Sarah and Brian. They wanted an urban feel to their e-session so we started off in the Chicano Park area on the outskirts of Logan Heights, then headed into the Gaslamp to finish our day. These two were great to shoot, they were so easy going and not too camera shy;) Sarah has gorgeous blue eyes that are piercing through the lens, check them out below! Kira & Alex ~ Engaged

Last weekend I met up with Kira and Alex in downtown for their engagement session. These two are such a lively couple, so downtown was a great spot to do a shoot. Things started out a little reserved, but a quick adult beverage helped lighten the mood. ;) We spent a good amount of time in the Gaslamp, then we headed over to a park at the edge of Seaport Village. We met the sunset just in time to get some great closing shots. I'm really looking forward to being a part of Kira & Alex's big day coming this July. Enjoy!

Thank You Cards Rock!

I can't tell you enough how good it feels to make someone happy. This morning I went to the post office and picked up the mail just like every monday morning. But today was different in that I received a card from Erin and Scott who's wedding I shot on Jan 12. Talk about starting the week off on a good note! It felt so good to know that Erin and Scott loved their photos that I just had to share their note. Erin.... Scott, thank you so much for the card and the gift they mean a lot to me and I wish you both the best!

Daisy ~ Post Surgery Day 2

It's not as bad as it looks! Daisy spends most of her day outside of the crate, with the exception of times when we can't have a direct eye on her... She actually doesn't mind it, kind of like her own little fort! ;) She's actually feeling pretty good, I can't imagine after 10 days of complete activity restriction? She's going to be climbing the walls. Oh the joys of two nine month old puppies! :)

Daisy Home from Surgery

And what good little patient she was.... Today we were able to pick her up at the hospital, Veterinary Specialty Hospital in Sorrento Valley. Her brother anxiously awaited her arrival home as they have never been separated. So with all the instructions and pain medications, we brought our baby home. She ended up having bilateral elbow arthroscopy to help alleviate her elbow dysplasia. She will be laid up for a total of 6 weeks. The surgery required two incisions which we get to look after to make sure they heal properly. If you notice Daisy's (Kristin's really) yellow T-shirt, it does serve a purpose. The discharge technician shared we could put a T-shirt on her so she doesn't have to wear one of those collars to prevent her and Kona from taking out the stitches. She got the royal treatment tonight, hanging out on the bed, eating dinner in bed and hanging out with mom. See our little baby, fentanyl patch and all... We are so glad to have her home and on the mend!

Nelson Wedding

This past Sunday I joined Katie and Tommy as they were married on the beach. They held an intimate ceremony at Silver Strand State beach in Coronado. This quaint ceremony included family and a few friends, and lots of warm clothes! Not your typical sunny California day, but the fact that Tommy had just completed boot camp a few days before made the day seem pretty bright! I will post a couple of more later as Im out the door for another shoot! Congrats Guys!

Will & Elisabeth ~ Engaged

Last week I headed up to Malibu to shoot an engagement session for Will and Elisabeth. We met at the Getty Villa and maneuvered ourselves around snapping pics trying not to get caught! ;) (Supposedly, it's a no pic zone... Oh well, isn't it better to ask for forgiveness, than to ask for permission?) After some great shots at that location, we headed down to the beach to finish off the session. It was a such a perfect afternoon down on the beach, and we were able to really take advantage of the amazing scenery in Malibu. I really enjoyed meeting this sweet couple, and look forward to celebrating with them in May at the Falkner Winery in Temecula! Enjoy!

Well I finally broke down and bought it. Its a Canon 24mm 1.4. So what does this mean you ask... it basically means that this lens is really bad ass. It allows me to shoot in really dark places, get a little more artsy, and have better color and contrast. Its a prime lens (prime meaning, its a fixed focal length lens) and prime lenses are generally better than zoom lenses. Just don't ask me how much this little guy cost... lets just say it was an investment :)

Puppy Update

Well they are about 9 months old right now!! The best decision we made... they have brought us so much joy! Unfortunately though, Daisy is going to have surgery soon. We have recently discovered she has one of those lab curses :( She has elbow dysplasia, so our rescue dogs are going to become the most expensive adopted dogs we've heard of! J/K... But, of course they are worth it, because as many of you dog owners know, they are worth any and every penny you spend. Aren't they beautiful? We sure think so!

This past Saturday I joined Erin and Scott as they celebrated their wedding in pure San Diego style. Erin and Scott work and live in New York, but wanted to return to Scott's hometown for some great weather and sites as they celebrated their marriage. It was a beautiful day Saturday and that made for a great setting. The wedding was held at Balboa Park, where afterwards we took some time to snap some shots around the park. We then headed to the San Diego Zoo for some more pics and their outstanding wedding reception. I have to say this is one of the coolest places to do a wedding reception, especially if most of your guests are out of town. I have photographed at both the Zoo and Wild Animal Park, and it's such an one of a kind way to celebrate. At the reception, there was time set aside for an animal show where the handlers brought out some amazing animals for the bride, groom, and their guests to enjoy. Erin & Scott are animal lovers, so this was right up their alley. Their facial expressions say it all! I had such a great time with the two of them, they are two of the kindest people one can meet! Last week I had the opportunity to work with an awesome school, Westwood Elementary, through Project Heirloom. A while back I posted about the project put together by local photographers to donate their time to photograph families who lost their homes or were displaced by the Wildfires in October. This particular elementary school was in Rancho Bernardo, one of the hardest hit areas. Some of these families lost everything and I felt so blessed to help them begin to restore their momentos. I ended up photographing a total of 22 families in about a 4 hour period. As you can see, these are some gorgeous families! It's been said many times that when you reach out to help those in need,it is often the lessons you learn from those you help that are more valuable than the help you have to offer! This was truly the case.

The second weekend in December Kelsi and Russ were married at the Old Richland School House in San Marcos. This is such a quaint place located in the eastern part of San Marcos. The weekend had been cold and windy, but the heavens opened up and shone down on the ceremony! This couple is such a dynamic couple, they are two of the most fun people to be around. Kelsi is one of those beautiful girls who has no idea how beautiful she really is. The wedding emulated so much of their personalities, down to Kelsi's converse paired with her Maggie Sortero dress and Russ's red suspenders matching his plaid shoes. This was such a wonderful day and we wish Kelsi and Russ the best and can't wait to hear about their surprise honeymoon to Maya Riviera!

Earlier this week I met up with Brooke and Ryan to do a maternity session. We started at their house and then moved to Seaside Beach in Cardiff. Last week Heather and Chris came out from the Fort Worth, Texas to visit family in the area. They brought their adorable new additions Brody and Mason to meet the family. Project Heirloom- An Amazing Opportunity

Over this past week, we know once again, many people suffered horrible losses in our community. While reading an online forum I belong to, another San Diego photographer came up with a great idea to help those who have lost their homes in our community. Over and over again you hear people say, "We lost all our pictures, we have no memories left.." Well, those statements gave birth to Project Heirloom. Project Heirloom is a collaboration of local San Diego photographers who are donating their services to help rebuild memories by offering free family portraits & enlargements to those who have lost their homes in the fires. I am proud to say that we at Tamarack Studios are collaborating members on this project. Nasim & David : Day After Shoot

Yesterday we spent an outstanding day with Nasim and David doing an after wedding shoot. While photographing Liz and Ben's wedding last September, Kristin and I told Nasim about a "trash the dress" session... They really liked the idea and contacted us to book a shoot. Now, I wouldn't officially say we trashed the dress because Nasim's gown was far too precious to put in the water or a dirty alley. (It was a gorgeous double silk sheath that fit her like a glove). But, what we did do was get some amazing shots at Balboa Park and Windansea Beach in La Jolla. Being that there was so much smoke in the air, it made for a spectacular sunset. Saturday we spent the evening with Gina and Ryan as the celebrated their marriage at the beautiful Westgate Hotel in the Gaslamp Quarter. That morning started off with rain and gray skies and the afternoon turned beautiful just in time to capture the beauty of Gina's meticulous planning. The wedding was held in a candelit ballroom and then transformed to a romantic, dreamy reception. Gina was absolutely stunning... Her gown was handmade in Spain and fit her like a glove. It was a perfect compliment to the overall beauty of the day. Our favorite part??? Gina and Ryan gave us an hour to work after the wedding, so we scaled the hotel for pictures, then headed outside for a little urban scenery.... We had a great time and congratulations to this awesome couple!!!

Sunday was a gorgeous day in San Diego and Sarah and Jay picked a perfect date to say their "I do's". It was a clear, beautiful San Diego afternoon that we spent with this stunning couple at the Bahia Hotel on Mission Bay. Most all of Sarah's family flew in from Texas to join in the celebration. Sarah and Jay shared an intimate ceremony by the pond and then held their cocktail hour and reception in the cozy Del Mar Room. The day went so smoothly and as it turned to evening, we were treated to an AMAZING sunset. Check out some of their pics on the shore, that is postcard material! Just a side note, the evening ended with the quote, "Elvis has left the building..." and we are not kidding, see below, there was a special appearance by the King! Sandy & Jose Get Married

On Saturday we spent the day celebrating the marriage of Sandy and Jose. Sandy is an event coordinator so we knew we'd treated to quite an extravagant day. Uniting two cultures, Sandy and Jose had a mix of Arabic and Spanish flare to add to the beauty of the day. The wedding was held at St. Frances De Sales Parish in Riverside and the reception was hosted at the Crestmore Manor. A mix of chocolates and pinks made for a gorgeous fall wedding. The cake was out of this world, and even the swirling Santa Ana winds couldn't bring this baby down! A huge congratulations to the couple and best wishes as you set out on your honeymoon in Mexico! ENJOY!!!!

To us, that is... Today, Kristin and I celebrate our 5 year anniversary. Yup... it's true, October 5, 2002 was a beautiful October afternoon that we married at St. Paul's in Coronado and held our reception at was at the time called the Shelter Pointe Hotel (aka The Kona Kai Club) in Pt. Loma. Wow... a lot has happened in those 5 years... New jobs, new business, new home, new dogs, and new outlooks on life! Probably the most exciting part is Kristin beating cancer and the new perspective and ambitions it gave us... So, here's to more marriage milestones and a nice evening we'll spend together at the new restaurant, West Steak and Seafood in Carlsbad!

Ok, well not exactly.... but, today we headed up to Julian to Kristin's parents house. We were so blessed to have them take care of our kids (aka, puppies Daisy and Kona). We joked that they went to camp for a week because our "beach" dogs got a glimpse of the country life. I couldn't resist taking some pics of my favorite subjects on the Henthorn Ranch- their horse, Radcliffe and cow, Rebecca... Also, who says we don't see fall color/leave changes in San Diego??? Take a look at the last pic... this is a tree at the end of their street... Head up to Julian right now if you have time, it is such a great time of year up there!!!

Our Last Day...

So after our travels around the island we decided to stay in Waikiki for our final evening. Kristin was so excited she finally got to have a Mai Tai after fighting a cold for the last 4 days of the trip. We spent our evening at the Sheraton Moana Surfrider.

(Note to future travelers- honeymoon or anniversary, this is an amazing hotel. It is an old plantation house that has been restored over time. it is so relaxing and the grounds are impeccable... Highly Recommended)

As you can see the sunset was gorgeous, and we included some pics of the beach outside of the hotel. All in all, a great trip... very relaxing, and we're ready to jump back into action this coming weekend!

We decided to head southeast today and revisit some of the spots we've seen before, as well as some new ones. We made our way along the coast and through Hawaii' kai to Hanauma Bay and Sandy Beach. It was a little gray at the start, but turned out beautiful as we ended our day on the beach watching the waves at Sandy.

Aloha, The Real First Day

So after a long needed night of sleep...we woke up ambitious enough to drive the island. Being that I spent 6 weeks here two summers ago for my former job, Kristin and I have gotten to know the island pretty well... So because the weather was forecasted to be cloudy and a bit rainy, we decided this wasn't a lay at the beach day. We decided to head to the North Shore before the weekend crowd hits. We visited some places we have before, and then hit up some things we wanted to do, but have never done... All in all the consensus was , this was a great day!

So every hardworking couple needs some rest, right??? Well, we think September/October is a great time to relax... In the middle of our busy season, we found sometime to pack up and hit our favorite spot, Hawaii. We'll be out of the office until October 2, celebrating Kristin's birthday and our anniversary... yup, that's right, FIVE years on October 5th! We try to come back atleast once a year since we vacationed in Maui for our honeymoon in Otober 2002. So after our 7th trip to the islands, we have so much to be thankful for, our health, our family & friends, and the opportunity to do what we love... take pictures! Tara & Anthony decided to "Trash the Dress"

We were sooo excited when Tara called us and asked if we would do a "trash the dress" session! You may remember Tara and Anthony from August when they were married at the Lindley-Scott House in Azusa. When we spoke about the shoot and what they wanted, we decided two locations would be a great mix. So, we hit downtown San Diego and then moved on to Seaside Beach in Cardiff. We had an AMAZING time with these two! They were so engergetic and ready to try any idea we had; Love That!!!! Ruby & Greg Get Married

Last week we celebrated with Ruby and Greg for their marriage "weekend". By weekend, we mean, they married Friday at the beautiful Sampson Overlook in Dana Point and held their reception at a community center in Newport Beach on the following Saturday. Friday was an intimate ceremony with only family and very close friends(about 30 people total), of course their best friend, labrador retriever George. Saturday was an elegant affair, including Kristin's favorite, a Godiva Chocolate candy buffet. The details were extraordinary- a band, DJ, and over the top decor just to name a few...Ruby and Greg just beamed as they danced the night away. Ruby's family are all ballroom dancers so the guests were treated to a waltz by Ruby and Greg, as well as three other performances by family members and friends. The room was gorgeous, decorated with warm oranges and bronzes and a host of amazing floral decorations. To top it off, Ruby and Greg left the next evening for Spain where they were to meet their cruise liner for a fantastic 3 week Mediterranean cruise! Congrats to the Mr. & Mrs. and we hope you had a wonderful time!

Last Friday we had a great time at the wedding of Elizabeth and Ben... We knew Elizabeth was going to be a gorgeous bride, and was she ever! Both ceremony and reception were held at the beautiful Admiral Kidd Club. Of course, we were a little worried about temperature since we just went through that heatwave, but the day was picturesque. Time for an update! Daisy and Kona are growing like weeds... We decided to post another few pics, as "our children" are growing up so fast. We think we finally determined what kind of dogs they are... Dr. Moews, our amazing vet, says they are most likely Labrador/Chesapeake Bay Retriever Mixes. We know their mom is definitely a purebred Lab, so if you notice they have wavy hair on their back and tail, that is consistent with the Chesapeake. Whatever they are, THEY ARE SO CUTE!!!

This past Saturday, Athena and John married at Torrey Pines State Park. That had a beautiful day laid out for them as they celebrated their marriage in an intimate ceremony on a point overlooking the preserve. Athena looked beautiful and Kristin kept commenting on additionally how beautiful her flowers complimented her... I'd agree, the vibrant colors were such a great compliment to their pictureque setting. The evening continued as they moved to their reception at the trendy California Cuisine restaurant in Hillcrest. Take a look below at the pics of food... Those are for the family as we learned from John's dad that the family has more pictures of their food than of each other! Quite the connoisseurs they are! We had a great time with Athena and John... we wish them the very best, and an extra early congrats for Athena as she continues to pursue her law degree!

So...through our last wedding in Canton, Ohio, we were once again given the opportunity to return back to the "Buckeye" state two weekends ago. Here we met Jenny and Kody, who were referred to us by another photographer in their area. Jenny and Kody are such a sweet couple. They met in highschool, dated through college and became engaged while attending Ohio University. Jenny was a softball player all through college and on the last game of her senior year Kody proposed to her on the mound of her home field. In front of fans, friends, family, and even the other time, Kody presented her a ring in a softball he had cut in half and cored. Such a great story, and even better, her ring bearer carried that softball! They had their ceremony at Westbrook Methodist Church in Canton, and was followed by a reception at Skyland Pines Lodge. We had a great time getting to know Jenny, Kody, their friends, and wonderful families! Congrats guys, and thanks for allowing us to be a part of your special day!

On Saturday we had the privilege of photographing a truly amazing couple. Michael, a producer for a hit television show and Alli, an actress in grad school currently working towards her MFT, were married on Sunset Cliffs under the setting sun. As you can see this couple is 100% full of happiness, joy, laughter and love. Alli and Michael decided on a vintage hollywood theme to their wedding and their reception was held in a club Humphrey Bogart frequented often. Thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your wedding. Congratulations to the both of you!!!

On Friday, the beautiful Tara and Anthony married at the Lindley Scott House in Azusa. We met Tara and Anthony way back in December for their engagement shoot and we knew they would have a stunning wedding day. Their story is so sweet... Tara being a flight attendant and Anthony in the Army, they met on a flight home and knew it was something special. These two are so in love! Tara told us that day she loved pink, and her colors did not disappoint. The room for the wedding reception looked great! Here's a sneak peek at some of the day... Last week we met up with Ruby, Greg, and their dog "George" for their engagement session at Craig Regional Park in the Fullerton/Brea area. This park is so beautiful, a little piece of paradise right in the middle of the city! Now, we must say that Ruby is one of the most energetic people we've met, and she made us get our exercise! We joked that she would take us to every end of the park, and that we did! We had so much fun with them, and George was such a good dog, he just hung out with us when it wasn't time to be in front of the camera.

Whew..... It has been a busy summer... We are so behind in our blogging having traveled to the east coast 4 times between the two of us in the past two months. So here's our beginning of what's been going on with us. This past weekend, I had the amazing opportunity to shoot a wedding in Boston. Now, this was not just any wedding, it was a cultural affair. Eric and Anjali treated their guests to a multicultural experience that not many are fortunate to have. Let's just put it this way... The day began at 8:00am and end at 12:30am the next morning. Eric and Anjali had not one, but two weddings in a single day. Below you will get a taste of their traditional Hindu ceremony, as well as, what they referred to as their "western culture"ceremony and reception. I posted quite a few pics, just a snapshot of what took place during their extraordinary event. A special thanks to Seshu Photography for inviting to me to partner in this event!

Below I'll give you a little bit of info with each pic, as Anjali included an amazing program outlining the traditions for their non-indian guests who haven't experienced a Hindu wedding.

Yesterday we picked up our puppies Daisy and Kona. How cute are these two? They are 11 weeks old having cinco de mayo as their birthday. Daisy is very adventurous and daring while Kona seems to be the one always looking to play! I promise there will be more pics to come...
